What’s included in the move out cleaning service?

When you bring Gold Team on board, you're getting a skilled crew that can effectively handle these move-out cleaning tasks:

  • Balcony - Sweeping only. We don't use water. We clean only the easily reachable glass in order to keep our team safe. Depending on what is needed, it can take an additional 1 to 2 hours of service.

  • Bathrooms - We clean the entire bathroom.

  • Bedroom/Den and Living Room - We dust all the baseboards and clean inside closets, inside windows, and the floor.

  • Blinds - We dust with a duster, not wash one by one.

  • Carpets - We use a normal vacuum cleaner, we don’t remove stains. You are welcome to hire stain removal services separately.  See more about our carpet cleaning solutions by clicking here.

  • Kitchen - We clean the inside and out of all cabinets, fridge, stove, oven, sink, and floor.

  • Walls - We clean the kitchen and bathroom walls. The other walls we don't focus on. The client needs to inform us if there is any dirt at any point (of course, if there's a large and visible stain of dirt that comes out with a damp cloth, we will clean it). We don't clean wall by wall, and we don't remove scratch marks from furniture that was touching.

We emphasize the walls here because, in some move out cleaning checklists, a strata may ask for the walls as they were delivered at the beginning of the lease. And as our focus is cleaning the property, this job would be with a painter.

If the landlord complains about cleaning, we kindly ask you as our client to call us immediately to return to the place, and if possible have the landlord report in writing what needs to be redone.

How long will move out cleaning take?

For a normal move out cleaning situation, we estimate the time of 5 hours. Now, if the house is very dirty, it can take longer. If the job takes longer, we readjust the invoice for the hours that the cleaner spent there.

What takes up more time are refrigerators, ovens, and bathrooms.
